Tennis
"Committed To Nurturing Each Child's Unique Potential" Presently, our tennis program consists of afterschool youth development and Saturday community tennis at Creel Park. Over the years, we have had success of exposing youth to community tennis rallies/carnivals, NJTL League, Junior Team Tennis and friendly competition/ tournaments. These formats have proved to be successful over the years; therefore, we will continue this route. It is our goal to expose the youth and to show them the developmental components of the sport that are crucial for success in school and life while at the same time enjoying physical activity and friendly competition. NJTL – National Junior Tennis League. This program (co-found-ed by Arthur Ashe and Charles Pasarett in 1969) targets juniors of all ages and combines educational and tennis components. JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS. Players ages 8-18 are introduced to competitive team tennis in groups based on age and JNTRP ability levels 1.0-5.0. Junior Team Tennis focuses on fun, fitness and the social benefits of tennis and teams can advance to district and regional championships.
